How to save or share photos and videos in the Flickr app

When you find a great photo it's natural to want to save it or share it with others. With the photographer’s permission, you can save it or share it.

iOS | Android

Save or share one item

  1. Tap the image or video you want to save or share to open it.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. Select if you want to Save image or Copy URL to share.

Notes

  • The Flickr app needs to have access to your Photos to allow downloads. Learn how to Enable permissions for the Flickr App. (Your photos won't be automatically backed up to Flickr unless you are a Pro member and the Auto-Uploader is enabled in the app).
  • Free accounts cannot offer downloads of original or large-size photos (larger than 1024px), regardless of the permission setting.
  • Pro accounts can allow full-size and original downloads for their content, as long as permissions are enabled. Learn more about permissions here.
  • Videos uploaded by free accounts are not available for download.
  • When downloading a video that another Pro member has uploaded, the largest file size will be 1080p 30fps.
  • Currently, it is not possible to download videos directly to your Android device via the Flickr app.

Share multiple items from your own account
