Safety levels let other members know that your content might contain nudity, sexuality, or graphic imagery that some have chosen not to see. Moderate your content and help avoid surprises.
Set the default safety level for new content
These steps will allow you to change the default setting for all photos and videos uploaded to your account.
iOS | Android
- Tap the Profile icon.
- Tap the three dot menu at the top right.
- Select Privacy and safety.

iOS: Tap Photo Safety Level.
Android: Tap Safety Level. - Change the Safety level to Safe, Moderate, or Restricted.
Note: Changes made here will apply exclusively to future uploads.
Change the safety level of existing content
iOS | Android
- Tap the Profile icon.
- Tap Camera Roll.
- Select the photo where you would like to change the safety level.
- Swipe up on the small bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Pencil icon next to Safety level.
- Change the Safety level to Safe, Moderate, or Restricted.
The new Safety level you select will take effect immediately.
