The Flickr Widget will feature randomized photos from that day’s Explore feed to your iOS or Android device. You can also tap on the widget to be brought to that full photo in the Flickr app, easily navigating back to the Explore feed for the day to see more featured photos.
Can be installed on devices with iOS 14 or later installed.
Android
Can be installed on devices with Android version 11 or later installed.
Tap and hold on a blank area of your device’s home screen.
Once the icons begin shaking, tap the + or Edit icon at the top of the screen.
Use the search bar to type in ‘Flickr’ to pull up the app, or scroll through the widget options until you find the Flickr widget.
Tap the Flickr icon.
Choose the small, medium or large size widget to add to your home screen. You can swipe left and right to see all three options and how they will appear on your home screen.
Tap Add Widget. You can drag the widget around the screen to place it where you’d like and adjust the size as needed.
Tap Done in the upper right corner of the home screen to save changes.
Press and hold your finger on a blank area of the home screen.
Select the Widgets option in the menu that appears.
Scroll down until you reach the Flickr widget.
Touch and hold to pick the widget.
Drop it anywhere in your home screen
To resize, press firmly on the widget on your home screen. A white box with circular adjustment markers will appear around the widget.
Once you're done, tap on a space outside the widget to complete the resize and lock it into place.
