How to report violations of our Community Guidelines

If a photo or member is violating our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, we encourage you to report it to our Trust & Safety team. 

The primary paths to report potential violations are Flag Photo, Report Abuse, and Contact Us. Here are the steps on how to do so:

Reporting a profile

  1. Go to a members profile.
  2. Select the three dot menu located on the cover photo.
  3. Select Report user
  4. Select What would you like to report | select Next.
  5. Enter any pertinent details (if applicable) | select Send.

Reporting a photo

  1. Select the image to open it.
  2. Scroll down | select Flag Photo or Report Abuse.
  3. Select a category (Note: To ensure your report gets the appropriate level of attention some categories will direct you to Contact Us).
  4. Select Send

Reporting from a Photostream

  1. Go to the member's Photostream.
  2. Scroll down | select Report Abuse.
  3. Select a category (Note: To ensure your report gets the appropriate level of attention some categories will direct you to Contact Us).
  4. Select Send

Reporting from Contact Us*

  1. Go to the Contact Us form.
  2. Fill out the form | select Trust & Safety from the drop-down.
  3. Select the appropriate Issue.
  4. Enter a message detailing the report. Be sure to include a link to the account or photo in question, if applicable.
  5. Select Send.

*The best method for reporting external sites that have posted your content. For more information on why other sites can use your Flickr photos or videos, please see here.

Reporting from the mobile app

  1. Tap on the member’s profile picture.
  2. Scroll down | tap Report Abuse.
  3. Fill out the form accordingly.
  4. Tap Send.
