What happens when you change your Flickr Pro renewal frequency?
You can change your Flickr Pro automatic renewal terms to increase or decrease the billing frequency. Here's what happens when you do.
- Your pre-existing renewal date will not be changed for this term.
- The new frequency you apply goes into effect at the end of your previous renewal term.
- An authorization hold may be placed, but you won't be charged until the end of the current term.

Payment options
Update your payment card details (web only)
It is not currently possible to update your billing details via the Flickr app. You will need to use a desktop computer or a mobile web browser.
- Sign in to Flickr.
- Select your Profile Photo.
- Select Settings.
- Under "Membership status" select Update payment method.
- Enter a different payment method for your next renewal.
- Select Save.
Change payment method (web only)
Google Pay & Apple Pay
If you would like to switch to Apple Pay or Google Pay, you’ll need to cancel your existing subscription and resubscribe.
After canceling, you can take the following steps to resubscribe:
- Sign in to Flickr from your desktop or mobile browser.
- Select your Profile Photo.
- Select Settings.
- Under "Membership status” select Renew your Pro subscription.
- Select Get started | select the subscription type you prefer.
- Select Buy with Google Pay or Buy with Apple Pay.
- Select Pay to confirm purchase.
Notes:
- Google Pay will only appear as a payment option on Chrome.
- Apple Pay will only appear as a payment option on Safari.
- If you are using the respective browser for each payment method and are not seeing the options to pay using Google Pay or Apple Pay, you will need to activate this option through the browser’s settings.
