About the Auto-Uploadr (Flickr app)*

*This feature is available to Flickr Pro’s only.

When you upgrade to Flickr Pro, you have the ability to use our Auto-Uploadr tool which automatically uploads all of your photos & videos to Flickr from your mobile device into a private folder so only you can see them.

What gets uploaded?

  • Only items from your device's default photo & video folder will be uploaded.

  • Only unique items that haven't been uploaded before get backed-up.

    • Transferring photos from an old phone to a new phone can cause duplications as the Uploadr sees them as new items.

    • Keep in mind, if you edit and save over the original image on your device, it may upload it as a new image. Edits may include: Editing the image within a third-party app, rotating the image, resizing the image.

  • Items that meet our upload requirements listed here

Note: Content is only uploaded from your device to Flickr. It does not sync both ways.

  • Delete images on your device - Associated images on Flickr are not deleted.
