Add or remove content from an album

There are different methods for adding or removing content from a Flickr album.

Before you get started, note that: 

  • Each album can contain up to 100,000 items.
  • Removing a photo from an album only removes it from that particular album grouping. To learn how to delete content from your account entirely, read more here.
  • Deleting all of the items from within an album will automatically remove the album from your account.

Web browser 

Upload page
  1. Select the Upload icon.
  2. Select Choose Photos and Videos.
  3. Select your items | select Open.
  4. On the left sidebar, select Add to albums.
  5. Select the desired album(s) and/ or, select Create a new album | enter the title, description and choose the sort order | select Create album.
  6. Select Done.
  7. Select Upload.

Photo page
  1. Open the photo page of the content you want to add to an album.
  • To add: Select Add to album | select the album and a blue tick will appear | select Done.
  • To remove: Hover over the album | select the X.

Albums page
  1. Hover over You | select Albums.
  2. Select the album you wish to edit.
  • To add: Select the + Add icon | select the items you wish to add | click Select.
  • To remove: Hover over the item in the album | select the X.

Camera Roll
  1. Hover over You | select Camera Roll.
  2. Select the items you wish to add to an album.
  3. Select Add to album.
  • To add: Select the album and a blue tick will appear | select Done.
  • To remove: Select the album that has the blue tick applied | select Done.

Organizr
  1. Hover over You | select Organize.
  2. Select Albums & Collections.
  3. Double-click the album you wish to organize.
  • To add: Drag items from the bottom of the screen into the album.

  • To remove: Drag items from the album to the bottom of the screen.

     4. Select Save.

Add content

  1. Go to your profile, tap Camera Roll.
  2. Tap Select.
  3. Tap one or more items.
  4. Tap the Album icon on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap one or more albums.
  6. Tap Save.
  7. Tap Done to return to Flickr.

 

Remove content

  1. From your profile, tap Albums.
  2. Tap an album.
  3. Tap the More icon.
  4. Tap Edit.
  5. Tap one or more items.
  6. Tap the Remove icon.
  7. Tap Remove.

Add content

  1. Go to your profile, tap Camera Roll.
  2. Tap Select.
  3. Tap one or more items.
  4. Tap the Album icon on the bottom of the screen. 
  5. Tap Add to album.
  6. Tap one or more albums.
  7. Tap Okay in the top right-hand corner.
  8. Tap Done again to return to Flickr.

 

Remove content

  1. From your profile, tap Albums.
  2. Tap an album.
  3. Tap Select.
  4. Tap one or more items.
  5. Tap the Delete icon.
  6. Tap the Remove from album.
  7. Tap Remove from album.
