Troubleshooting: Cache & Cookies

If you're experiencing issues signing in, staying signed in, or seeing outdated content on Flickr, clearing your cache or enabling cookies usually resolves the problem.

Clear your cache

Your browser and the Flickr app store temporary files (cache) to load pages faster. Over time, these files can become outdated or corrupted, causing display problems, slow loading, or sign-in issues. Clearing your cache gives you a fresh start.

On a web browser:

On the Flickr mobile app:

iOS Android
  1. Go to your profile page
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right)
  3. Tap Trash your cache
  4. Tap OK
  1. Open your phone's Settings app
  2. Find Apps or Applications
  3. Locate and tap Flickr
  4. Tap Storage or Storage & cache
  5. Tap Clear cache

(Settings locations vary by device manufacturer. If you can't find these options, check your device's support documentation.)

Enable cookies
