You can choose whether your photos are visible in Flickr’s own public searches. When content is hidden from searches, it won’t appear in public areas on Flickr (other than your Photostream).
Note: This setting only affects searches on Flickr. If your photos have already been indexed by external search engines (like Google or Bing), they may still appear there until those search engines update their results. Flickr doesn’t control that process.
Unhide your account from public searches
To change the default setting for new uploads:
- Go to your Account settings.
- Select Privacy & Permissions.
- Under Global Settings, find Hide your stuff from public searches | Select Edit.
- Select any boxes you want to change.
- Select Save.
Unhide content from search
To update the setting for content already uploaded:
- Hover over You | select Organize.
- Drag and drop content to the batch area.
- Click Permissions | Select Who can see, comment, tag?
- Choose your preferred settings.
- Select Change Permissions.
