Your privacy settings give you full control over who can view your photos and videos.
These settings work independently from Safety Levels, so you can customize visibility for each piece of content based on your preferences.
To locate content on your account based on the Privacy Setting, see How to locate non-public and/or moderate or restricted content on your Flickr account.

Mark a contact as "friends" or "family"*If you mark something as Friend, Family, or Friends&Family, the viewer must be signed into a Flickr account you've added as that contact type. |
Note: Moderate/Restricted content is only visible to logged-in members who have adjusted their SafeSearch settings to see that level of content. |
Things to keep in mind:
- If you add a non-public photo to a Flickr group, then the photo will be visible to all group members.
- If you tag a person in a non-public photo, then the photo will be visible to the person tagged.
- If you create a guest pass to the photo, or an album that the photo is a part of, anyone with the link will be able to see the content.

Note: Changing to a stricter Privacy Setting (ex. from Public to Private), will permanently alter the original link and remove Faves from viewers who no longer have access. This cannot be undone.
