Adding style or links to your comments can help you stand out and make your contributions more engaging. If you’re new to HTML, don’t worry — it’s simple to get started.
When using Flickr in a web browser, you can format your comments with HTML code. (This feature isn’t available in the Flickr app.)
Use HTML tags to style your text
- Bold: <b>your text</b>
- Italics: <i>your text</i>
- Underline: <u>your text</u>
- Deleted: <del>your text</del>
- Block Quote: <blockquote>your text</blockquote>
Below is how the examples above would display in your comment:
Link to a photo/ video/ album on Flickr in your comment
To include a Flickr photo, video, or album in your reply, copy its URL and place it between square brackets.
Example links when using the Share option:
Example links when copying the URL from your browser’s address bar:
- [https://www.flickr.com/photos/flickr/albums/72157716823987722]
Both formats will display the photo or album directly in your comment, without showing the URL.
