Flickr offers a variety of ways to share images from your computer, including sending them to social media sites, emailing them to friends & family, or embedding them on a website.

When you click the Share icon, you can quickly:
- Post on social media. Share individual photos or albums on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, & Pinterest.

Copy a link to the photo page or album. Whether it's Public or Private, you can get a link to the photo page or album to share with others. Private content generates a Guest Pass link so only people with the link can see it.
Share individual items & albums
Email a link to the photo page
- Select a photo or album to open it.
- Select the Share icon.
- Select Email.
- Enter the recipient's Flickr screen name or email address.
- Enter a message.
- Select Share.
Note: When sharing albums, you will have the option to share only the Public items, or both Public & Private content.
Copy the BBCode
- Select a photo to open it.
- Select the Share icon.
- Select BBCode.
- Pick the size you want to display.
- Copy the code and use it on your website.
Notes:
- BBCodes can only be generated through the desktop website.
- This option is not available for sharing albums.
Get a direct URL to a photo
- Select a photo or album to open it.
- Select the Download icon.
- Select View all sizes.
- Select the size you want to see.
- Right-click the image.
- Select Copy Image Location or Copy Image URL (text may vary per browser).
Remember to link back to Flickr! Per our Terms of Use, whenever you place an image you're storing on Flickr on an external web site, you must also include a link back to Flickr.

Share your entire Photostream
You can easily share your entire Photostream by selecting the Share icon seen on the right side, just above your photos.
You will have the option to Share, Embed, or Email the items. You will also be able to share just the Public items, or all of the photos & videos.
Share Moderate & Restricted content on Flickr
Please keep in mind the following restrictions regarding safety & privacy levels:
- Uploads marked as moderate cannot be shared directly to social media.
- Restricted content has limitations, including what and how you can share.
For sharing Restricted content, here are your options:
Sharing Restricted content that is private
- It is not possible to share Restricted content that is private.
- If you share a private album with a guest pass, only the Safe and Moderate content will be seen.
Sharing Restricted content that is public
- If your Restricted content is public, the Share icon will still be disabled. However, you are able to share the URL to the content.
Note: Restricted & Moderate content can only be viewed by Flickr members who are logged into their account, and have SafeSearch off.
