View and manage your items within the Camera Roll

What is the Camera Roll?

The Camera Roll is a private tool for viewing & managing all content on your account. 

Access the Camera Roll

  1. Hover over You.
  2. Select Camera Roll.
  1. Tap on the Profile icon. 
  2. Tap on Camera Roll.

Sort your photos & videos

When viewing your Camera Roll, you have the option to view your content chronologically by Date Taken or Date Uploaded.

  2. Select the sorting drop-down menu (it will show Date Taken or Date Uploaded).
  3. Select your preferred sorting method.

Things out of order? 

It’s likely due to missing dates on your uploaded content. Items with no date are shown at the top of the Camera Roll. 

To fix this, you'll need to add the date to each item manually (web only):

  1. Log into your account on a web browser.
  2. Select one or more items.
  3. Select Edit at the bottom of the editing tray.
  4. Add or edit the Date Taken.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Select Clear selection in the bottom of the editing tray.

Manage or share your photos and videos

The Camera Roll also allows you to make changes to your content. Select one or more items to add them to the editing tray at the bottom of your screen where you can action the following:

Privacy

 Change who can see the items. (If an item is set to private, you will see a little padlock icon in the bottom left.)

Edit info

(web only)

 Change the title, description, dates, tags, and other info.

Share

Share your Flickr content.


 

Add to album

Group them together any way you like. Add or remove content from an album.


 

Download

Save them to your device. Steps can be found here: Downloading content from Flickr.


 

Delete

 Remove photos or videos from Flickr. Steps to do that can be found here: How to delete photos or videos. This cannot be undone.

Deleted photos aren't recoverable. For this reason, we recommend keeping an offline backup of your content. After a photo is deleted, all of the metadata and comments associated with it are removed from the server. If you delete a photo or video by accident, you will need to re-upload it to your account.

Finished editing?

When you're done editing, you can select the item again to remove it from the editing tray, or select Clear selection to remove all of the items to prevent unwanted edits.
