View images with the Photostream

What is the Photostream? 

The Photostream is the public-facing way to display photos on your account. 

View your Photostream

  1. Sign in to Flickr.
  2. Hover over You | select Photostream.

You can change the view by toggling between:

  • Public view 
  • Friends view
  • Family view
  • Friends & Family view 
  • View all

You can also switch the display by switching between the two grid icons on the right-hand side.

  1. Tap on your Profile
  2. Tap Stream to see the public view of your own Photostream. 

You can change the view by tapping Public view above the photos to switch to Friends view or Family view

View your another member’s Photostream

  1. Visit the members Profile.
  2. Select the Photostream tab. 

Logged out users see photos in order of “Date Uploaded” by default.


Logged in members can toggle between “Date Uploaded” and “Date Taken” in their Photostream settings, and this will apply to all other Photostreams they view while logged in.

  1. Tap the members name to see their Stream.

Members will see photos in order of “Date Uploaded” by default.

Who can view my Photostream? 

Other Flickr members, and followers set as Friends or Family, will be able to see photos based on your privacy settings.

Experience your Photostream through the eyes of others with the “View menu” above your photos.

  • Public view: Images that everyone can see.
  • Friend view:  Followers marked as “Friend” can see.
  • Family view: Followers marked as “Family” can see.
  • Friend & Family view: Both “Friend” and “Family” followers can see.
  • View all: All images in your Photostream (public and private).
