Share your Flickr content

Sharing your photos and videos is a great way to connect with friends, family, and the broader Flickr community. You can share individual items, albums, or even your entire Photostream — all from your desktop or the Flickr app.

Always include a link back to Flickr when embedding or sharing images externally. This is required by Flickr’s Terms of Use.

You can share using one of these options:

Copy the share link

(web & Flickr app)

 Share a direct link to the photo page or album.

Share your photos in a group

(web & Flickr app)

 See Add or remove photos in Flickr groups for more information.

Post on social media

(web only)

 Share directly to Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, or Pinterest.

Get an embed code

(web only)

 Use the HTML embed code to display a photo on a website or blog. This includes a link back to Flickr, per our Terms of Use. For more information see Embed your Flickr content.

Use BBCode

(web only)

 Share your photo in forums or message boards that support BBCode formatting.

Share a QR code

(Flickr app only)

 Generate a QR code for others to scan.

Notes:

  • Non-public content: 
    - Sharing non-public content will create a Guest Pass link so only people with the link can view it (web only). 
    - Non-public content shared in a group is visible to all group members.
  • Moderate content: Cannot be shared directly to social media.
  • Restricted content: Non-public restricted content cannot be shared. Public restricted content cannot use the Share icon, but you can share its URL.

Share a single item 

  1. Open the photo or video you want to share.
  2. Select the Share icon.
  3. Choose how you’d like to share.

     

Share multiple items (your own content only)

  1. Select the Profile icon.
  2. From your Camera Roll tab, select the content you want to share.
  3. Select the Share icon.
  4. Choose how you’d like to share.

Share a single item 

  1. Open the photo or video you want to share.
  2. Select the Share icon.
  3. Choose how you’d like to share: Share QR Code or Share (link).

     

Share multiple items  (your own content only)

  1. Select the Profile icon.
  2. From your Camera Roll tab, tap Select above your content.
  3. Select the content you want to share.
  4. Tap the Share icon. 
  5. Choose how you’d like to share: Share QR Code or Share (link).

Share an album

  1. Hover over You | select Albums
  2. Hover over the album you want to share.
  3. Select the Share icon.
  4. Choose the desired sharing method.
  1. Tap the Profile icon.
  2. Tap the Albums tab.
  3. Select the album you want to share.
  4. Tap the three-dot menu. 
  5. Tap Share album.

Share your Photostream

  1. Open the photo or album you want to share.
  2. Select the Share icon.
  3. Choose the desired sharing method.
  1. Tap the Profile icon.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. Choose how you’d like to share: Share QR Code or Share (link).
